We've all been there.
Your best friend just got the diagnosis. Your sister is going through a divorce. Your college roommate lost her mom. Someone you love did something incredibly brave and you watched it happen and felt everything, pride, relief, awe. And then you went to find a card to tell them so.
And you stood there in that aisle for ten minutes.
Picking up card after card. Putting them back. Too generic. Too cheerful. Too many flowers. Too many words that somehow say nothing at all. "Thinking of you during this difficult time." "Wishing you all the best on your journey ahead."
That's not what you wanted to say. That's not what they needed to hear.
What you wanted to say was simpler than that. More honest than that. You wanted to say I see you. I'm here. That was hard and you did it anyway. You wanted to say the thing you'd text them at midnight. The thing you'd say standing in their kitchen. The real thing.
But you couldn't find that card. So you bought the one with the flowers and wrote something in your own handwriting and hoped they understood what you actually meant.
I've been making greeting cards for years. Beautiful cards. Foil stamped, letterpress printed, elegant. Cards people were proud to give. And somewhere along the way I started noticing something.
The cards that sold weren't always the most elaborate ones. They were the ones that said something true. Something specific. Something that made the person picking it up think yes, that's exactly it. That's what I've been trying to say.
So I stopped asking "what looks beautiful?" and started asking "what needs to be said?"
That's how the Just Say It collection was born.
Six cards. Six things worth saying. No elaborate verses. No filler. Just the words, foil stamped in white on warm tan paper in a typeface that gives them the weight they deserve.
miss your face.
glad it's you.
that was brave.
still here.
you get me.
proud of you.
That's it. Nothing more. Because sometimes the most powerful thing you can say is also the simplest. And the person who receives it will know, really know, that you meant every word.
Because some things need to be said.
The Just Say It collection is coming soon to WowWordZ. Six foil stamped cards for the moments when you finally know exactly what you want to say.
Words that mean everything.
